After our boat ride from Ko Libong, we drove back to Trang city with the driver of the resort owner and checked in at Sri Trang Hotel. To our surprise, it was less than a 100 yards from our previous hotel, the Ban Bunga Inn, that we stayed at on the way to Ko Libong.
We spent the following day hiking the Thung Khai Botanic Garden and its Sky Bridge for about two hours. The garden is free of charge! Some reviews you might read of the garden suggest that it is run down and has little visitors. That may have been the case, but our experience today shows lots of ongoing improvements and visitors activity. There are even quite a few food vendors in a section of the parking lot. The garden is clean, lush, and warrants a trip if you are in town.

At 3 PM, we were picked up for our 2 hr (turned into a 1.5 hr) drive to the Kabri airport for our direct flight to Chiang Mai. We had the option of using the Trang airport, but it meant a 6 hr layover in Bangkok. The drive and fare to Kabri were worth it.
